Due Diligence Analyst Program
The Due Diligence Analyst (DDA) program engages college and university women, and introduces them to the world of investing and entrepreneurship. Participants gain real-world, resume-building experience!
College women from various schools, majors, undergraduate and graduate programs are invited to apply to become Due Diligence Analysts. This program is unique in that it provides women with real-life experience preparing and presenting a due diligence report for investors, adult Fast Pitch judges and Junior Venture Capitalists. The report is used to help evaluate the best business in which to invest out of the 10 Fast Pitch finalists.
The Analysts receive training and are paired with a mentor to guide them in creating a due diligence report on one of the finalists. They have access to the founders to ask questions to further vet the investment-worthiness of the businesses. They also:
-
Learn how to access tools to analyze early-stage companies for investment potential
-
Acquire investment knowledge from finance professionals who donate their time to mentor each of the analysts
-
Develop a network of business professionals
-
Learn the art of networking and business etiquette
-
Become part of the WFN network
There is no fee to apply or participate in this program.
