Candice Nakagawa is a Director and Senior Private Wealth Advisor/Team Lead – Los Angeles North & Central Coast Region for The Private Bank. In this role, she partners with a team of specialists in wealth planning, investments, risk management, trust and estate services, and banking in Beverly Hills. Candice works with high-net-worth clients to help them build, sustain, and transfer wealth based on their distinct priorities.

The Private Bank is supported by teams of wealth management professionals who provide consultative relationships centered on the client’s unique goals and dreams.
Candice joined Union Bank in 2000. She has previously worked as a Priority Banking Manager and a Private Banker.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with a minor in Japanese Studies, from the University of California, San Diego. She is also a graduate of the premier national graduate school of banking, Pacific Coast Banking School, and has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. She is a graduate of Union Bank’s Management Training Program and holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and a California Life Insurance License.
Beyond her career at Union Bank, Candice recently joined the board for the non-profit organization Women’s Voices Now, an organization striving to drive social change that advances women’s and girls’ rights globally, and was formerly a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters Los Angeles. Candice enjoys traveling the world, competitive open water swimming, scuba diving, and competing in triathlons. She is also a fluent speaker of Japanese.
